Admission Guidelines

Admission Process:


Indus Hospitals has made patient friendly processes that make admission in the hospital simple and convenient for our patients and their family members. During the time of admission as In Patient the following steps will be followed:


  • For all OPD cases the respective consultant will write an advice for admission on prescription form and directed to help desk for necessary counseling.
  • The Inpatient counseling department will explain about the services, treatment protocols, financial expenditure, Plan of treatment and overall estimation cost of the treatment.
  • Our help desk is active 24*7, and will counsel the patient on type of room to select, mode of payment and deposit, package details, insurance cover and more. The Counselor will hand the patient a slip containing the specification of deposit amount and room category and directed to reception for admission.
  • During the process of selection of room if the selected room is not available our counselor or reception department will explain the alternative and also whenever the chosen room is available on coordination with Floor In charges the room will be allotted.
  • If it is a planned admission in coming days, the counselor will explain all necessary steps to be followed for admission, and if at all any rooms to be kept prior in advance the necessary protocols to be followed will be clearly explained.
  • Our reception Executive will complete the formalities as per the desired room category, and you are requested to deposit the advance as requested by the counselor.
  • After the payment you will receive an advance receipt for deposition.
  • After the admission process you will have to put the signature on all required consent papers as requested by our executive and you will be given a visitor pass, Inpatient handbook and wrist band.
  • After completion of admission formalities our front office staff will guide you the allotted room.


Admission Checklist:


For a smooth admission process, Patients and attendants are requested to carry the following documents:


  • Referral letter from your doctor.
  • Health insurance cards if available should carry with him.
  • CGHS patients must carry their family health card and credit referral letter.
  •  A Government issued identity document (Passport, Driver’s license, Aadhar card).
  • Previous medical health reports.


Admission Guidelines:


  • The Help Desk is located quite opposite to the entrance at the main lobby.
  • 24/7 Admissions are accepted.
  • All admissions require a Deposit Slip. We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. We do not accept checks.
  • You are requested to carry your own personal toiletries, clothing and slippers as the hospital does not provide them.
  • You are advised not to retain any precious jewelry, large sums of money or other valuables during your stay in the hospital.
  • INDUS Hospitals is not responsible for any loss or damage of your items.
  • Video counseling might be taken in some cases.
  • This hospital premises is under surveillance  excluding patient care areas.
